NEW PORTRAITS – Since 2012
It all started with Chasing Summer back in 1994 – a two and a bit year long journey around the globe on motorbike. Next, in 2012 I drew a line in the sand, publishing 15 years of portraits, in the monograph CITIZEN.
Now this. Another 11 years (and counting) of adding new portrait work to the archives. Chapter 3. The sum now almost 30 years using the same parameters camera, film, the random coincidental meetings.
In some ways, these three chapters are a testament to the utter chaos of living. Only – really – brought under manageable control by maintaining a singular approach.
Being a citizen in the world, awake and curious about the other, the stranger.
No borders, no sides, no issue.
CITIZEN -The Limited book – containing 4 Type C original prints and boxed in a linen clam shell, is still available to purchase.
The regular edition of CITIZEN is available.
